I went to see my friend early this year, who also happens to be an avid sewer, and it was there that I first learned about the Brother Innov-ís Pacesetter PS500. I must admit that when she first explained its benefits to me, I was a little excited. My excitement only increased when I eventually made the decision to get one for myself.

Working with Brother Innov-ís Pacesetter PS500

I’ll discuss my own experience using this machine with you. First off, the user manual was simple to understand. I adore the Brother manuals and how there are two of them, one in English and one in Spanish. A wonderful set of accessories, including my favorite Brother nylon soft cover, were also included in the packaging. Not to mention, the Quick Start Guide is available in a number of languages and includes attractive images.

The machine offers four fonts—script, regular caps, block, and a Japanese font—as well as a decent assortment of 100 stitches. You can enjoy making the typefaces because they have such a lovely appearance. Of course, this machine also features a nice auto threader that performs excellently.

You may definitely use the lovely decorative stitching on your doll outfits. The stitches are well executed. It results in wonderful, straight, and tight stitches all around. The machine sews utility stitches beautifully. Using this machine is a breeze since there is sufficient lighting. One LED in the harp and one well-positioned LED over the needle area. There is no need to add any additional LED strips.

The in-built storage on this system is the finest. Due to the fact that it has two built-in bins—one in the front and one in the back—it does not require a separate box for storing its accessories. All of my small accessories fit comfortably in the back bin, and even the enormous spool holder fits underneath the foot holder in the front.

Use the foot pedal if you want the speed control option to also function as the width control. Additionally, the majority of ornamental stitches appear to not have a width or length adjustment option as of yet; they resemble lovely mini-embroideries.

When I tried using this machine, I successfully finished stitching hems and trimming edges. I quilted as well, and it turned out rather well. My creations had a great appearance and a well-polished finish. Overall, and I’m not exaggerating, I found this machine to be quite simple to use. Once you get used to it, using it will be a breeze.
