What caught my eye was the beautiful yellow floral motif. The Janome Magnolia 7330 is embellished with three yellow flowers surrounding the word ‘Magnolia’.

Working on the Janome Magnolia 7330
On board threading and bobbin winding guides make the set up process for the Janome Magnolia 7330 as easy as possible. The drop in bobbin and see through bobbin cover are great for user friendly sewing.
The stitch selection process is just as easy. The menu button takes you to the stitch selection guide or the length and width adjustment functions.
Stitches are displayed on the front panel with the accompanying number assignment above the stitch display and the presser foot identification beneath.
All of the stitches sampled during this review remained faithful to the Janome reputation. Each one came out perfectly formed, clean, well defined and sturdy.
The accessories are stored inside the on board case which slides off to reveal the free arm. In addition, taking the accessories case off is the only way to reach the drop feed slider which is located on the back of the free arm.
It’ll be nice when the folks who moved this function from the front of the machine get the hint that this placement is totally inefficient.
You can’t even attach a button without going through the unnecessary step of removing the accessories tray, reaching behind the free arm and then going through the entire process in reverse when you are finished.

My only reservation would be to limit its use by children younger than 9 or 10 years of age.

I love most all of the functions and love the look but you cant sew on denim ? what Janome would have all these function and sew on denim? I have a Janome new home 6000, 26 years old and its in for repair for the first time. I went over a denim seam with out walking it and jammed the machine. I am sick about it. I want to get a new one and still hope that my old one can be fixed because it makes awesome buttonholes. can you help me? I would really appreciate it thank you Linda hfriedrichs@gmail.com
I do not recommend using the Magnolia 7330 for exceptionally thick fabrics but that does not include clothing weight denim. I do not, however, recommend use of this machine for excessive work on even clothing weight denim. Continuous or prolonged use on heavy weight fabrics could have an adverse affect upon the delicate electronic components inside.
If you are truly interested in working with lots of heavy fabrics, I recommend a manual machine rather than one with computerized components. These machines are altogether too delicate for working with heavy fabrics for more than occasional sewing projects.

Thankyou , I had a Janome 6000 computerized for 28 years and it did sew beatific over denim seams but I think your right because my machine stopped working last week . I went out to look at Janomes but saw a good deal so I got the s5 skyline . So far o like it but haven sewed over denim yet . I do miss my old machine .
I didn’t like this machine as the lighting was poor and the storage on the free arm was just a hole to stuff things in I found it easier not to use.
I love this machine! The needle down is my favorite reason. The only thing I’d like to add to this machine is more choices on decorative stitches. Otherwise this is a workhorse of a machine. It is my third janome in forty three years. Not a one of them ever broke. I just upgraded.
